OK so I absolutely love Joey Fatone (N*SYNC) - was never a fan of their music but a total fan of their talent and I used to LOVE watching them perform live at awards shows because their dancing was just so much fun to watch. He's the one that used to get criticized for being "out of shape" (he wasn't) and he had an amazing sense of humor regarding the way the media scrutinized him. Anyway he had the most amazing Halloween costume:

One more thing - just had a crazy coughing fit because I was eating baby carrots and the carrot juice went down the wrong pipe. Tears streaming down my face from all the coughing. I think my body was rejecting the carrots and basically saying, "it's Halloween, where's my candy!!"

It's not safe anywhere. I just had a coughing fit when I tried to inhale a tiny piece of M&M candy coating shell. I guess that isn't one of the best of ideas, but, life happens. At least juice doesn't have jagged edges.

So, Halloween isn't really a " thing" here, but my DD's best friend LOVES all things Halloweenish. Her parents invited my 2 to go trick-or-treating with them, and they went with a group. They said hardly anyone answered their doors and there were some who didn't have candy...so like, one person gave them cough drops, and one person went to the store just to get candy for them (how sweet is that??) so told them to come back later, which they did. One house, a little toddler answered the door, said "We don't have anything for you" and closed the door in their faces. But this is the first time we've ever gotten trick-or-treaters...I think we had about 12-15!! And every one of them that came to the door came in groups and you could hear them shouting to each other in excitement when someone actually came to the door "They're home!!!" . It was so cute! So here are my witch and harry potter...I don't know what's up with the color in DD's...she looks white as a sheet.

I am not a fan of the Hallowe’en except for the fact that it means I can put up my lights this week, and Christmas music starts on one of the radio stations tomorrow. 
I swore we were not giving out this year, but it turns out that Mike bought two boxes of chocolate bars, and Tammy will be there to hand out.
If I’d known this, I might at least have brought up my plug in jack o’lantern, but noooooo, no one tells me anything.
On the plus side, I won’t be home until well after 9:00, and the trick or treaters will be long finished by then.
I swore we were not giving out this year, but it turns out that Mike bought two boxes of chocolate bars, and Tammy will be there to hand out.

I just finished online check in for Pop Century. If we are arriving Tues. night, when will they release the room #?

They will text if you provided a US phone #; email for international guests.
Should get your room designation mid afternoon at the latest. We got ours at 3:01.
