Everyone is watching the World Series?
(Me, I just got in from work.)

Oopsie. Mike is ticked at me.
He’s downstairs watching the Leafs and I’m upstairs with the World Series on, no volume.

I hear crowd celebration noise, so I check the SportsNet app and say, “Yay! The Leafs won.”

Problem is - he’s watching in delay.
Leafs are down 2-1. My bad.

Further proof that no good comes from pretending to enjoy the same things as Hubby.

Had my birthday dinner at Hollerbach’s Willow Tree Cafe. This place is a whole lot of fun, and the food is delicious too. The band is always great.


Beer for me.


We shared a big pretzel appetizer.




Great music!


I had sausages, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and potato salad.

They forgot my potato salad but that was quickly remedied.


My mom had wiener schnitzel.


And my grandmother had a salad.


For dessert I had the German chocolate cake.
