I kept tearing up at work all day yesterday. Had to stay off FB. Then I went to visit Auntie last night for a last goodbye before she leaves for Africa, and she gave me a necklace that had been my mom’s ... and I lost it.

One out of three ain’t bad. (Except Mike says there were actually five.)

Bat Out of Hell, Standing in the Dark (Canadian band - Platinum Blond), The Lines are Open (another Canadian band - The Arrows), and Listen Like Thieves (INXS).

Titanic Soundtrack was on CD, and it’s Mikey who is the big Hip fan; I actually only like one song.

Got back from the airport a little while ago, so DH had to go sit in the hot tub. As I was out there talking to him, I spotted this guy soaring high above us...

Orr died of pancreatic cancer at 53, just like two of my friends recently.

Yes, I Googled the Cars this morning, so I knew that Orr had died.

I’m sorry about your friends. No cancer is good, but just about anyone who gets pancreatic cancer doesn’t fare well.
