Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Today I went to Target and bought The Florida Project on DVD. Just finished watching it--compelling . . .

Anyone else here seen it?
I have seen some clips for it and I do plan to buy it. Most of it was shot within a few miles of where we are staying here, and we recognized a lot of scenes from the clips we saw.
One interesting tidbit - the ice cream stand that is shown was about 3 minutes from here. It had the best soft serve ever, and the prices were great. We're frequent flyers there, and they know DH well. When we came back this year we were stunned to see an empty lot where our beloved Twistee Treat ice cream cone shaped building used to stand, so we figured it was a victim of Hurricane Irma. A little research on the internet though led me to the true story - the entire building was moved down the road a couple of miles, and repainted. Yesterday was in fact opening day at its new location, so naturally DH and I had to stop. Still as good as we remembered, but I miss having it so close-by.

I love Twistee Treat. My Dad lives in Tavares Fl and there is one there. The first time we visited him there I asked him how the ice cream was and he said he hadn't tried it yet and he had only been there 4 months. My dad loves ice cream and the place is shaped like an ice cream cone. I was floored that he hadn't been there yet. I remedied that situation pretty quickly! We will be near a Twistee Treat again soon, so I'm planning on partaking again. :hungry::)

This is our last weekend here in FL for a while, so we had kind of a low-key day just catching up on things. We did make a little side trip to see our eagles again and finally got to see one of the babies.

We over to a nearby park and just watched the gators and ospreys for a while, and some pretty flowers...

On the way out of that park we were on the road we use to go to the nest when I spotted another nest in a tree. At first I thought it might be the same nest from a different angle, but it wasn't . I wish we had seen that earlier this month, but it was still pretty neat to discover another one!

They have "hard" ice cream there too, but the soft serve is so good that I never try anything else - strictly a chocolate/vanilla twist for this kid!
