Did you ever hear the radio show where some woman called in to complain about the placement of the deer crossing signs, because the deer don't ever cross at the sign, and she wanted to have it moved so the deer would be forced to cross where they were supposed to? :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

That ended up being a hoax, but was still very amusing.

"On 17 September 2012, a woman later dubbed “Donna the Deer Lady” called the weekly “vent line” feature of Fargo radio station Y94’s “Morning Playhouse” show and stated that she had been in three car accidents involving deer in the last few years, all of which had occurred near deer-crossing signs; she then offered seemingly earnest complaints about officials’ “allowing these deer crossings to be in such high-traffic areas” and questioned “why we are encouraging deer to cross the interstate.” The following month, a recording of that call received wide circulation on the Internet via YouTube.

However, others such as Tampa radio talk show host Todd Schnitt maintain that “Donna” was actually a fake caller who has been used by Y94’s hosts more than once to stage supposedly real, outrageous phone conversations. According to Schnitt, she appeared on the station again in October 2013 claiming that she was going to hand out “fat letters” on Halloween to trick-or-treaters she did not deem thin enough to deserve candy.

Ticket prices at Walt Disney World Orlando and Disneyland in California both have been increased for the coming season. The announcement was made by company officials on Sunday.

Beginning on Sunday, Magic Kingdom “value” days will cost $109 for an adult and $103 for children. That’s a $2 increase over ticket prices last year on “value” days.

During “regular” time, adults will pay $119 and children will pay $113. That’s a $4 increase over last year.

“Peak” prices will be set at $129 for an adult and $123 for a child.

“Value” one-day tickets at Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and the Animal Kingdom will cost $102 for an adult and $96 for a child. That’s a $2 bump over last year. “Regular” times at these parks will cost $114 for an adult and $108 for a child. “Peak” tickets at these parks will run $122 for an adult and $116 for a child.

At Disneyland, the regular price of admission to the Anaheim park will be set at $117. That’s a $7 rise over last year. A single-day ticket during peak times will cost $135, which is an $11 increase over last year. The cost of a “value” ticket will remain the same at $97.

No "like" for that . . . sigh. :(

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I’m still going for my appointment tomorrow, because even with Google’s help, I really don’t know everything. That being said, I’m highly doubtful that I will be booking any corrective laser eye surgery.

Turns out, I’m too old, or ineligible for anything that appeals to me.

I would dearly love to be proved wrong.
