We went out to Merritt Island today to check on the wildlife there. We're never disappointed. Here's a few reasons we keep going back there every year...

We drove down to Squid Lips in Sebastian for dinner and sat and watched the pelicans:

"Sure do boss.
"Well here's what we's gonna do. When she's just about to takes our picture, we's gonna moon her. Ya got it?"
"You mean we's gonna show her our undercarriages the way we do anytime someone tries to takes our picture? Oh boy oh boy oh boy!"
"Shut up, Mugsy. Okay, fellas, get ready. On my lead. One....two....bottoms up NOW!"

That was pretty much how it went, but I loved the picture after that, so I kept it.

By the way, I should probably explain this photo. we walked out to this spot that used to be an overlook, but is now closed, but when I looked, there was the Vertical Assembly Building at KSC looming in the background.

Rewired my lamps today. I had never rewired a lamp before. It was a lot easier than I thought.

They just need some Bar Keepers Friend. What color would you paint them? If you ever come to my apartment I'll have to remember to make sure you're not carrying any paint with you.
