On the road today driving back to Texas. Rivers of light got rained out yesterday so never got to see it. I think that’s the only thing we wanted to see but didn’t.

10 nights went by very fast. DW took a lot of photos on her camera. Will be able to share some once we get back home and download them.

We don’t do “homecoming” up here. We have “proms” but those are in the late spring.

We went to a memorial service today where I had quite a bit to eat at the reception. When Mike asked what I wanted for supper, I said - nothing, I’m not hungry.

Now I am; and the chicken pot pies take 50 minutes. That was poor planning.

That’s one and a nibble for me, and two and 3/4 for Mike. With milk, of course.



It’s funny how I won’t eat pastry crust on fruit pies, but I will on meat pies.

I didn't realize that that show was still on TV til we had my mom living with us. She loved to watch it, but didn't quite understand that people were deliberately in costumes.
