When my niece was about 3, she was so proud that she could spell her name. She'd tell everyone that it was spelled T-W-I-T.
I may or may not have taught her that...

Yeah, a few years ago a naughty one double kicked at me. I twisted fast enough to avoid getting both in the stomach, but one caught me on the side and cracked 3 ribs. He tried to jump a 5' fence to get away from me after that - I'm pretty sure he figured out I was ready to kill him (figuratively not literally)...That made me laugh, until I read it was you, Rick.
I'll bet you know a thing or two about being kicked by a horse.

Thought about it. He was a naughty teenager (horse years, not people years) and knew he did wrong. He continues to behave and is nice to me, even today...

Unfortunately, indeed I do see. Is that a real sign? Good proof reading, folks. We do grow some very naive people in Vermont though so I can see why that might have been missed.
