They really got rid of the Rhino? We then did Jungle Cruise before taking the monorail over to Epcot.

I noticed that, too. I don't keep up with anything in the N&R, so it was a little surprising. But the guide still did the joke about "getting the point", which makes no sense now. They really got rid of the Rhino?
Just spreading the love with a hug.Kramer (the cat) is 16 years old and pretty mellow.
Gordie (the pup) is less than 6 months old, and is not mellow at all. He also does not respect boundaries.
Kramie, just chilling.

"Oh man", he says, "I am too old for this carp."

We had lunch at Cosmic Ray's, where you now have to BUY your cheese sauce. Which by the way, is not nearly as good as what the free stuff used to be.

No, it was closed. Was the hall of presidents open?
Was the water wheel turning at Riverside? I heard that has been broken as well. Some overall thoughts from my trip:
Disney Springs
- It's much more attractive than Downtown Disney.
- It has a lot of good shopping options, but most of them aren't for me. They are more upscale, and I don't like how the stores I went into all had employees hovering over you at all time.
- The dining options seem much, much better.
- I'm glad they kept the Marketplace the same for the most part.
Pandora
- Brilliantly done.
- I was skeptical at the idea of Avatar in Disney, but it totally works. By far the best thing Disney has done in years.
- NRJ was a bit of a let down, but it's not a terrible ride. I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes in line for it, and I assume that will be the average wait time once the hype of the new land dies down. The ride could have been improved by an actual storyline.
- FoP is one of the most, if not the most, immersive and breath-taking attractions Disney has ever done. It's incredible, and words don't do it justice. Take away any nostalgia factor from any other rides, and it is hands-down my favorite attraction at Disney. The way you can feel the banshee breathe is amazing.
- The land as a whole is incredibly detailed. You don't have to know Avatar to appreciate the beauty and creativity that went into Pandora.
- Night time is awesome there, and I wish I could have spent more time exploring. However, I did notice is was a bit hard to figure out how to get around at night. That may be because I'm not used to the layout of the land, but I did notice it.
- Pandora took Animal Kingdom from a good park to a great park. Definitely can be a full day park.
Hollywood Studios
- Yikes. This park is a mess. If you thought it was bad before, it's really a lot worse without SoA and Backlot Tours. It just feels like everything is misplaced and disjointed.
- The park needs a massive retheme and overhaul, and Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land better be spectacular. There is no method to the madness. The layout feels even more cluttered and chaotic than it did before. Not the best park to navigate.
- RnR and ToT better not go away for a long, long time. They are awesome attractions, and even if the two new lands were to open tomorrow, the park would take a massive blow.
Epcot
- Soarin' was a step down from its previous form IMO. The CGI and transitions made it feel fake. I didn't see a rhyme or reason to the locations. I also didn't get the sense that you were flying as much as I did in the old version. The musical number also was much better in the first version.
- Future World more than ever needs something to bring it back to life. The removal of most of Innoventions is pretty noticeable. The attractions in the part of the park are stale. UoE is very outdated and needs a lot of work. I've never been a fan of Mission: Space, and this trip I nearly forgot it was there. TT is a good attraction, but its previous version was better. SSE and LwtL are still great attractions.
- I've given my thoughts on Frozen already, so a quick recap. I really enjoyed the ride both times I went on it, but it shouldn't have replaced Maelstrom. I think making a Frozen Land in DHS would have been a huge hit and much more effective.
Magic Kingdom
- Still a great park.
- Nothing really to write about here, other than that it's still the standard for theme parks.
Overall Maintenance
- I noticed there were a lot of broken features around the entire WDW property.
- It seemed like every time we went to the River Mill at POR multiple soda machines were down or out. This created a lot of problems with the area becoming too crowded.
- I never been to Disney and had so many times where the paper towel dispenser was out.
- Each monorail I went on seemed to need deep cleaning. They were pretty gross, and they all seemed pretty rickety, too.
- There was one parking lot tram I was on that seemed like it was going to fall apart at any moment.
It was too expensive to feed the 500 hamsters that turned it.Was the water wheel turning at Riverside? I heard that has been broken as well.
No, it was not. You can see the mechanism that turns it inside the building, and that was ever covered up.Was the water wheel turning at Riverside? I heard that has been broken as well.
It's hard to find people who can repair water features in Florida, apparently. No, it was not. You can see the mechanism that turns it inside the building, and that was ever covered up.
