Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

You know what's funny?
The DDP works for us, as you may have noticed from my TR.
This was our 9th trip using it.

Yeah. I liked it in April when we used it because it gave us an opportunity to do a lot character dining for the girls.

DWs parents have time share though that we have used a couple time. Really close to the parks. I think we are gonna use that next time to save some money as we want to go for 10 nights.

Nothing to worry about, probably just "one little spark" of inspiration. Figment must have made a field trip to MK.
They also changed the lyrics of the ride song to: "How do you do? Pretty good, sure as you're burned." :(

By the way, because I'm too lazy to go back and look it up myself, does anybody know the exact time frame UOE is supposed to close for good at Epcot for the Guardians attraction? I might be down at the World in early December, and am hoping to get one last spin on that ride before it bites the dust.

Cherries jubilee ... my dad's favourite!

I debated whether to comment yesterday, when I saw the Cherries Jubilee celebration day on @trr1 's list. But now that you have, I'll add that it was my mother's favorite as well. (Sigh . . . memories.)

It's something you don't see anymore (fickle food trends and all); but years ago, you'd go to a fancy restaurant and someone would order it. The waiter would come to the table and flambe it for that special effect. (I think it was the brandy that really brought up the flame.) Wish it was still popular. I kinda like a "show" with my dessert. :joyfull:

One of our favorite Greek restaurants in Tarpon Springs has an appetizer called Saganake, which is basically a flaming cheese. It's worth the price just for the show:

I've never seen gravy on Fried Chicken. Fried Chicken is finger food ....gravy negates that.
I used to buy these a lot...

Country fried Chicken is a BIG deal down here in the south. Second only to Country Fried Steak. Fried Chicken and Country Fried Chicken are two different animals. Well, not different animals, still chicken, but, completely different method of cooking.
