Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

The price at the gas station closest to my house is about 2.75. But if you drive less than 10 minutes to the next Exxon station it's about 2.45. In other parts of the DC area it's a lot lower than that.

In my area of MA, I was looking at the prices on the way home tonight--three different stations, all within 1 1/2 miles of each other, all on Main Street: $2.17, $2.27, and $2.39.

I will likely pay $2.31 a gallon in the morning. I'm getting gas at the station I pass on the way to work - or I won't be making it to work.

You know what's funny?
If I'm running out I'll stop at the nearby expensive place if I have to but just get 2 or 3 gallons.

I'm fortunate enough to live in a state where gas is relatively cheap compared to most of the county.

Although there are some places even lower.

It doesn't matter how long my day has been, I will ALWAYS get gas on my way home rather than leave it until the morning.

I will ALWAYS save it for the morning. Unless I know it's supposed to snow or there's a monsoon predicted for the morning. Mainly because in the evening I am trying to get somewhere - usually with the kids. And in the morning it's just me and there's always an extra few minutes to spare on the way to work.

I have a 75 minute drive, and hate the idea of having to spend snooze time pumping gas. If I've got extra time in the morning, I'd rather spend those few minutes on coffee, or "coffee". Or sleeping.

Hubby knows how much I hate filling up in the morning, that on the rare occasion that I don't do it on the way home, he will take my car back out and fill it for me.

An empty gas tank will keep me awake all night. I will honestly fret about it so much that no amount of alphabetical mental Word Whomp will soothe me.

I usually only drive in town here, where nothing takes more then 5-10 minutes to drive to, so I rarely gas up. But whenever I do I do it after work, since there is one right by where I work. And it's convenient because it's in the direction that I drive! I haven't looked at gas prices recently, but I think the last time I checked it was around $2.20 a gallon.

I'm either really lazy, or really industrious.

The second set of sheets just came out of the dryer. I had to decide if I was going to fold them (oversized king) by myself, just to put them on the bed tomorrow; or to say the heck with it, and strip the bed one day early.

So yay! It's Clean Sheet Thursday!

I typically strip the beds, wash the sheets, and put them back on. No folding. Although every few weeks I rotate with what's in the closet so the sheets in the closet always smell fresh.
