ESPNradio? o_O I don't think my transistor radio picks up that station.

Try changing that 9 volt battery that's been in there since 1965. That should help. :joyfull:

I paid about $2.45 the other day.

I see it's $1.85 at a Costco I sometimes go to in the Memphis suburbs....

I just go there when I'm visiting.
I don't drive all the way there just for cheap gas.
The dealership gave me a Shell gift card as an apology for an issue so I've been using them and they are 2.15 a gallon. Everywhere else by my house is 2.05.

Drive 20 minutes to work and gas is 2.30. By where I take the train to NYC it is 2.05 again. I don't know what the heck is going on by my office.

The price at the gas station closest to my house is about 2.75. But if you drive less than 10 minutes to the next Exxon station it's about 2.45. In other parts of the DC area it's a lot lower than that.

I was actually being funny. I have no idea if that was a good or bad price for gas.

I paid $1.049 for gas yesterday. Per LITRE. Times 3.785 equals pretty close to 4 bucks/gallon.

Yikes. We were paying that a few years ago. That's when I bought the hybrid.
Tax, tax, all tax.
Free medical care isn't really free.

Thankfully my car rates best in class for gas consumption. You can do the conversion, but I average 6.8 l/100km. I get pretty close to 900 km on $60.

The credit card I use gives me gas discounts of up to 10 cents per litre, provided I spend enough on the card monthly.

I do. Spend enough, that is.

Our state is freaking out because they wanted to add a .30 per gallon tax.

There must be hundreds of thousands of drivers from NY and PA who get their gas in NJ because the gas tax is so much lower there now.
I don't go that way very often but in a couple of weeks I am heading up to Vermont for a few days. I always remember to fuel up before I get to New York State going either direction. It's not to bad here in NC. I paid $1.98 gal. a few days ago.

Just got back from a delightful lunch with some good friends. The whole point of eating at Stillwaters is to take advantage of the two rooftop decks.

Thank goodness for the slight breeze off the water, because it's 91 degrees today.
