Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I am reviewing all of our dining ressies for the first time since I made them almost 4 weeks ago, and I am scratching my head.

I have no recollection of booking Kona for dinner, and do I really want to eat at 4:30 just to get into Tutto Italia? Chefs is still a big maybe too.

Time to start playing around to see if I can rearrange some stuff. See, this is what happens when free DDP comes out the day before your grand opening, and you have 12 hours to arrange your parks and all your ADR's.

You hit PM instead of AM for the Kona reservation?

No, we have breakfast there later in the week.
Maybe I booked it because Hubby has never had dinner there. I have, and it's quite good, but I have no recollection of booking it. My confirmation number would seem to "confirm" that I did though.

What say you on Tutto @ 4:30? It was the only time I could get. This is mine and Hubby's first trip alone since before we had kids. I think I was going for the nostalgia factor here.

If I can get Teppan Edo at a better time, should I switch? None of the desserts there appeal to me, but School Bread is just a hop skip and a jump away.

Is that French Fries with ketchup and mayo on top of a cake?

The bottom right stack seems off by a couple of books. It appears that there are more green edges than there are white edges facing out.
Better not be! Every stack of 10 was counted by yours truly. And I have the paper cuts to prove it!

So, during our upcoming trip, here is the list of what will be closed for refurb:
- SFR Treehouse
- It's a Small World
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Dinosaur

The only one that doesn't leave me gutted is BTMR.
Funnily enough, I'm willing to bet that's the only one Hubby will miss.

Yikes. With the exception of Dinosaur over in AK, that's a lot of closed attractions in MK! :jawdrop:

Ahh, but Pirates will be open. :)
I so missed that ride last year.

Yah, it's sad when a ride you really like is not working. I'll never forget one year when Space was down for rehab. I nearly lost it--and, it's not that I didn't expect "some" rides to undergo renovations from time to time, but not MY Space Mountain! By the way, I rode Space as the first ride on my trip this time! (Even though people complain that it's a bit rough in spots, I just think the ride is thrilling and a "must do" for me every time! )

Our 3 FP+ selections for MK are: Space, Splash, and 7 Dwarfs Mine Train.
Standby for Mansion, Pirates, and Winnie the Pooh.
Very end of the day for Peter Pan.

Everything else is usually not too long of a wait, post-Labour Day.

A hostess told me a couple years ago that the Tutto menu is available at the wine cellar at dinner. Not sure if that has changed, but you might be able to sit down there at a more normal time.

I was sad when I thought Thunder would be closed. I love all the mountains. Dinosaur and Small World really need the work though. IASW was dirty and Dinosaur had a lot of broken AAs and their solution seems to have been just make it darker for several years.

I avoid that whole thing by merely driving offsite to eat. I do that whenever it is convenient for me. I know, I know... I am depriving myself of the entire experience, but, I can live with it.
