Apparently he was protesting a call. Resulted in an 8-point turnaround. As a 25+ year basketball coach, I assume he knows what he's talking about. Me, I am beyond apathetic. (Man, does that sound harsh!)

Memorable quotes (I overheard) from other Disney guests, while I was at WDW this week. Seriously, folks, you can't even make up this stuff!!

1. While I was riding on the Great Movie Ride, we came around a corner, and a woman behind me exclaimed, "Oh!! I know this movie! It's Alice in Wondeland--see, look over there--those are the Munchkins!"

While standing outside in the Haunted Mansion queue, a (late 40ish, father with his family) proceeded to tell them, "You know, I realize that Disneyland has a few better rides, like Cars Land than WDW, but but that's about it. Other than that, there's not much there. I mean, WDW got it right--they have so many better options here. Disneyland just got it all wrong . .. "

Anyway, you may recall we were talking recently about costumes in DHS, and I think now that the only ones on view are the ones in the queue area of the GMR. The costume collections there change from time to time (I read that). So here is my well-meaning, yet feeble attempt to get a picture of one for you. (If you click on it and tilt your head to the left, you'll see it better.) This is from The Ten Commandments (not sure which actress wore it). By the way, it was definitely more stunning in person, with gorgeous black beadwork from top to bottom . . .

That's beautiful. I would imagine Nefertiti would have worn it although I only really remember her wearing that teal dress.
