That old shade is now on the identical lamp in the basement, that had its original shade irreparably stained with nicotine when I lent it to my brother.

For now. Will probably swap it out too.

I vote for the "after" shade--very nice choice, Jennifer. You've always had a real eye for design. Sometimes, subtle upgrades can make a world of difference. I think the "after" shade makes the old style lamp look fresh and new.
