Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I was amazed when I watched Avatar in theaters. I never realized (at that time) how wonderful a film could look, graphically. But at the end, I thought to myself, "well, that story was kinda lame"
I'm excited for Avatarland just to be able to see that beautiful world in person, but I hope they avoid a book report ride because the plot was the weakest part and doesn't need to be repeated.

You know what's funny?

Yes, the same. I expect the land to be amazing as long as they keep it about the land and not the plot. I think they are doing that...I think.

I watched it when we had free HBO on the night it premiered. I knew the story was weak and all the hype was insane so I had a feeling it was never going to live up to it. I decided to give it an hour. That's my usual "give it a try" time allotment. At 35 minutes I was looking at the clock asking myself how much longer I had to endure the torture. Normally if I invest the hour I will see the movie through to the end. In this case at precisely 60 minutes I changed the channel.
