Seriously people, I clear my text messages every day or two. (I take a screen shot of anything I might need later). I also clear out my phone call log every single night.
If the Feds ever got a hold of my phone, they would for sure think I was a criminal with something to hide!

Except for Hubby's inevitable descent into X-rated texts for any exchange in excess of a dozen texts, I have absolutely nothing to hide.
The truth is, a lot of my texts are me nagging the kids or my head-case brother, and I don't need the visual reminder of what a nag I am, or how much they've earned it.

I'm paying close attention to the local weather news.
I only update the apps I use on my phone. So pretty much, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and the Weather Channel.
Which reminds me. I did have a second grader today tell me about 15 times - no exaggeration there, he literally followed me around the room and kept talking about it - how important it is to charge your iPod after you un-box it.

While my father was born in Germany, I am not a science-y type girl.
Think of it this way:
Snapchat is texting with pictures.
Instagram is Twitter, but with pictures.

Snapchats is for sharing things that don't need to be remembered for very long. Instagram is for food pictures and shots where you unnecessarily used the HDR option on your phone.
I'm not a fan of her not being a fan of Pavarotti.
I never post on Instagram. I just like to look at photography. I follow a lot of Disney World accounts.
