Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

You know what's funny?
Sad news in my city this evening. Had several tornados rip through the Dallas area tonight. Lots of damage to businesses and homes. Also, four people lost their lives. Terrible news any day, especially day after Christmas. :(

Sorry to hear this. I don't know if you remember, but in 2014 my small town had two tornadoes go through it - one right down the street from me.

Nice to see you down here at the bottom of the forums again. :)

Thank you! I haven't been as active on here as in the past because I was on a job search.

My tutoring business was going so well - to a fault; I was gone from 3:30-9pm everyday and didn't see my family. I needed 9-5 again and 2 days before Christmas I received an offer for a job I've been wanting for awhile - community outreach/nutrition education. I start in Feb. I'm looking forward to this new opportunity and to be working with youth again!

I've never had a good fruitcake. But I could see people celebrating this with a fruitcake toss competition!

When I was a kid, my Baba used to give us fruitcake all the time. I really liked the cake part, but not the dried fruit.
I would meticulously pick out the fruit, and just eat the few remaining cake crumbs. And make a huge mess in the process.

That's because no "good" fruitcake was ever made.

Yes, the dried fruit was a definite eat around for me as well. I was never so surprised as I was the time I went to my Nieces wedding in Montreal and found that beautifully decorated wedding cake was actually an evil Fruitcake in disguise. It didn't surprise me when the marriage didn't last long. You may think that I have something against Canada, but, sometimes you folks do the weirdest things, eh!
