Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Word Whomp:

You pick a 6-letter word, and compose as many 3, 4, 5, and 6 letter words as you can.
DRAPES and PLATES are both good ones. Plus I have to do it 3 times to make sure I get the same result each time.

The Rhyming Game: You pick a vowel sound, either long or short, and compose as many words that rhyme. FYI - the oo sound yields the most words. By far.
Boo, blue, brew, coo, chew, clue, crew ....
And again, the game must be played 3 times to make sure I get the same result each time.
On the plus side, I can compose rhyming couplets until the cows come home ... and then go back out ... and then come home again.

Multiplication games are my least favourite, as I have to use my finger and invisible chalkboard sometimes. How many seconds in a year? 60 x 60 x 24 x 365 (or 366). This game seldom produces the same answer 3 times in a row. I'm really not that good at it.

OCD plus insomnia makes JenniferS a very weird and wired lady sometimes.

P.S. - Forgot to add that Word Whomp and the Rhyming Game must be played alphabetically.
If I goof, I have to go all the way back to the beginning.

On the plus side, after years of organizing everything in my head alphabetically, I can retrieve just about any name or word by starting at "a" and working my way through.

Indeed. One of the good things about prednisone for allergic and autoimmune reactions is that it typically begins working within hours.
It's been 5 hours since they gave me the Prednisone at the hospital, and 4 hours since I took the 2 Benadryl.
Some of the highest raised welts are now less prominent, and the itchiness is significantly reduced.
The rash is still as red, still as widespread; but as long as I don't don pants, it is entirely tolerable.

Colour me happy. :)

Doctor at the ER prescribed 50mg of Prednisone - 1x/day for 5 days plus the first dose they gave me at the hospital.

At the pharmacy now, waiting for the scrip.

Yes, it's hives. Yes, it's a bad case. Yes, it's an allergic reaction to something. And yes, it will be completely 100% gone long before we leave for WDW.

Keep taking the Benadryl; stop the hydrocortisone cream. Calamine lotion and ice packs are fine.

The prednisone will make me squirrelly. So that sounds like fun.
So no typhoid Jen starting an epidemic at Disney World? :p

That fun trip will not end happily if you are not wearing pants. OR it might, whatever your thing is I guess.

I'd just want to control time. It would mostly be used for naps, finding time to exercise, and slapping people who tick me off at work.

I've thought about that before. The only problem with pausing time is that you would age a lot faster than everyone else. Unless, of course, pausing time stopped you from aging. That would be cool.

I'd pick time travel. 1970s here I come!

Forgot to share this ....
When I was at triage at the hospital, my blood pressure was very high, and my pulse was 130-something.
The nurse attributed it to overall discomfort.

Maybe.
Or ... maybe the last time I sat in this cubicle was when I brought my mother here with a sore back, and she croaked five hours later.

Whichever.

Oh wow. That's an awful memory. :(
