Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I went back to the dumpy campus at Rutgers they stuck the freshman and some sophomore transfers, like me, and was amazed at how much they added. Seemed like a totally different place. Huge apartment towers with stores, restaurants, and a movie theater on the ground floors. Plus their business school finally looked prestigious. And that was after only being gone a few years.
Maryland has added a lot of that too. There's a cafe in the main library now and huge study areas. No idea what happened to all the books. Testudo the Terrapin is still in front of it.

No - but I know people that dip them in mustard. Do you guys have knishes where you live? It's like mashed potatoes wrapped in a thin pastry shell and either baked or fried. People put mustard on those too.
Never heard of them.

It was actually needed for that campus. The business school looked sad for having such crazy standards to get in. People took most of their classes in trailers.

The main library had really nice study areas when I was in school since the switch to online was happening. I haven't gone back in there though. The remodeled campus is easier to visit since it has football general parking.

There's no free parking even in the little shopping centers just off campus at UMCP like there used to be. I paid $6 for 2 hours in campus visitor parking.

When I was an undergrad I paid $5 a semester to park.

For the year, I think I paid $500 my senior year to use my building's garage.

Keep us posted! It's too bad none of us stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night or are otherwise a self-proclaimed allergist or we would have been able to save you the trip.
Doctor at the ER prescribed 50mg of Prednisone - 1x/day for 5 days plus the first dose they gave me at the hospital.

At the pharmacy now, waiting for the scrip.

Yes, it's hives. Yes, it's a bad case. Yes, it's an allergic reaction to something. And yes, it will be completely 100% gone long before we leave for WDW.

Keep taking the Benadryl; stop the hydrocortisone cream. Calamine lotion and ice packs are fine.

The prednisone will make me squirrelly. So that sounds like fun.

Oh good - nothing a shot won't cure. ;)

I was on prednisone a few months ago for a weird cough that was caused by my voicebox swelling (which may or may not have been brought on by yelling like a psychopath for days on end) and I was an absolute BEAST working out for that entire week. And I didn't sleep.

Did he think it was the crabcakes?

Crab cakes - no idea.
He was more inclined to think it was something I rubbed up against in Niagara Falls. Got on the outside of my pants, and then transferred to the skin every time I pulled my pants up and down.

I had all the environmental allergy testing a few years ago, but not for food allergies.
