Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
If I were ever sentenced to death and offered a last meal, this is what I would want:

A deep fried Big Mac w/extra sauce.
Only thing missing - a large chocolate shake.

Fingers crossed no Governor's pardon comes in at the last second, 'cause I'm pretty sure I'm dying either way.

Methinks you took a wrong turn somewhere.

Why would you be in IOWA? No route from FLORIDA to WISCONSIN should take you through IOWA.

Perhaps your Garmin needs new batteries!
Going through Iowa is faster than going straight down through Illinois. Those are two lane roads most of the way down from where I live, whereas going through Iowa has four lanes.

Some takeaways from the trip...

DHS: Sad state. The new stage blocking the theater is even worse than the hat IMO. The only things I will go out of my way to do anymore are ToT and RnR. The new update to GMR made it more interesting and in-depth, but it sometimes clashes with what the CMs are doing. Overall, I like it better than the old version. One Man's Dream also continues to be one of my favorites. Definitely a half-day park.

AK: Pretty much the same as past trips, only the location of FotLK creates some heavily congested areas, including KS right afterwards. Avatar construction was in full-force. You could see it from way outside the park. And the construction going on around the lagoon was an ambiance killer.

Epcot: Another park that needs something more. The highlight of that park by far is WS, but it was depressing to see Norway being turned into Frozenland, and it was sad to see a couple people in my party be more than okay with that.

MK: The addition of SDMT is nice, but even though it's just over a year old, I feel like there's nothing really new and exciting there. And can I go one trip without having my view down Main Street blocked?

Now, this might seem like a depressing state of mind, but don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time down there. I think I'm just getting to the point where I'm finding it stale due to the lack of anything significant added. Part of it I think is definitely the MyMagic+ aspect. It takes most spontaneity out of the vacation, so it's a play-by-play type of vacation. I found the most enjoyable days were the days where we didn't necessarily have things planned, and didn't necessarily use our FPs. Part of it may have been me being sick for more than half the trip, too. That definitely drained me in the heat.

As of now I think I would rather go elsewhere for our next vacation, but I know in a couple months I'll be getting the Disney itch again. But I did very much enjoy myself down there. I think it might just be time to break the routine before going back.

Can't tell if jlassoon was serious in his response to my MSU/Hub post, so I think I'll just leave him be.
$500/day for MK, cap attendance at 20K ... alrighty then.
Can't find a member call jlasoon nor a MSU thread that isn't 4 years old....so I can't tell you either way.

I'm hoping the lagoon work at AK is done on time since I'd like to go early May next year. I'm honestly considering skipping DHS entirely to save money for Universal. I love ToT, Star Tours, RnRC, and Muppets. But 4 rides just doesn't seem worth it anymore. I know AK has the same problem, but at least the park is designed to encourage you to wander around and explore.
