So somehow - while I was trying to chip away some of the remaining ice on my driveway - the shovel bounced off the ice at a weird angle and ricocheted up and I knocked myself upside the head with the handle. I got myself right next to my eye, and I have a nice bump and the makings of a shiner. I'm so uncoordinated it's scary.

I honestly couldn't re-enact it if I tried. I have no idea how it happened, only that it did in fact happen. I was slamming the shovel straight down to try to chip an inch or so away and it flew back at my face. At least I didn't get my nose!!
