Next time you're in DS stop at Erin McKenna's everything is gf, vegan and delicious. Dh likes some of their stuff better than most bakeries
I’ve been wanting to try that place and Gideons for a long time. unfortunately Gideons is supposed to be really hard to get into so my family has never really tried.

I'm sure it's fine, but I have reached the age of being past experimenting with things that I may not like. I did that more when I was young. I've reached the age where I have no fear of dying. My only fear is dying without enjoying my life. Enjoying my youthful life may very well be the things that kill me, but it was fun while it lasted. 🤔 🙂

While we were at Raglan Road for dinner during our 2023 family trip, I took pics of the Gideon’s line, as viewed from our outdoor table. The first pic doesn’t include the extreme amount of people that were wrapped around that corner.
There was initial talk of us possibly going there after dinner, but the line only got longer.
No flippin’ way were we gonna’ wait in that line for a coupla’ over-stuffed, over-priced chocolate chip (or whatever) cookies…!!!!! 🤪:hilarious:

Warm temps? Nope.
Robins singing? Nope.
Melting snow? Nope.
Trees budding and crocuses poking through the snow? Nope.

None of these scream spring to me as much as this:

Our long winter nightmare ends this weekend!
I think I'm going to take Monday off to not deal with day 1 of losing an hour of sleep. Kids are unhinged. Haven't had a day off in a while.

Oh, it's not HARD to get into. Anyone can get in. You just have to wait in a long line at the Disney Springs location. If you get there when they first open, the line isn't as long. We opted for cake slices rather than cookies there. Was it worth it? Meh. The cake was good, but WAY too much frosting for the amount of cake, and we can make good cake ourselves, so for us, probably not. But for those who LOVE a lot of frosting and aren't good at baking, absolutely.

As for the cookies, don't know. We didn't try them, but they don't look very good to me. WAY too many chocolate chips and way too thick. But to each his own.
