Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

@JenniferS Are you in or near any of these towns?View attachment 822724
Fenelon Falls was one of our day trips this summer. It is a village within the City of Kawartha Lakes. Lindsay is the seat of Kawartha Lakes. We are technically the same city with the same mayor.

It is 24 km from our apartment … just less than 15 miles.

Bracebridge is the seat of the Muskoka region and is famous for being the home of “Santa’s Village”. It’s a little further away, about 90 minutes northwest of here.

Collingwood is set on Georgian Bay. It’s fairly close as the crow flies, but you have to go up and around or down around Lake Simcoe.

There are many, many lakes in Kawartha Lakes and points north. Lake Simcoe is a biggie though.

Just curious, have you started to sell stuff yet? Is there a high demand up in that area?

Started to sell. Market is still soft.
We’ve had four interest rate drops already this year (3 x 1/4 point and 1 x 1/2 point), with one more 1/4 point drop expected in December.

Buyers are waiting for your election to be over. There’s also a chance our minority Libs fall and we have our own federal election. The ruling provincial gov’t is contemplating calling an early election as well. Lots of political uncertainty.

The spring should be quite robust. For now, we limp along selling one or two here and there.

We want the election to be over too. And the next one will start as soon as this one ends

Today was our 28th day in a row with no rain. Climate change is evident in temperatures and other aspects as well.
I don't know how many days, but we haven't had rain in a long time. We have a brief shower last week, but it lasted probably 10 minutes. Besides that, we haven't had a single day of indoor recess, which is pretty crazy to be two months in without it.

We’ve had quite a bit this month. Not rain all day, but enough days with an hour here and an hour there. Enough to make earthworks difficult. Those huge trucks and tractors sink real deep in the mud.

Tonight's supper came from a local food truck that makes brick oven pizzas. 😋

That reminds me of in ancient times when I was in the Air Force Technical school at Lowry AFB in Denver. My classes were from 5pm to midnight and when we got out and headed back to the barracks there was always a van in the parking lot that sold Pizza like your picture. Going to bed on a full stomach of Cheese, Pepperoni and sausage seems now like a recipe for massive heartburn. I guess being just 20 years old the inside plumbing was much more able to handle the abuse.
