Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

No kidding, our hallways are white, pure white. It is so boring. Our art teacher has offered to paint or have kids paint a few murals in some hallways but our district administrator always says no. We can't even have a purple (our school color) stripe painted on the walls. He even wanted our bulletin board strip taken down in the area of my classroom, we balked at that, it is where we hang up kids' work. I guess the District administrator really goes for the institutional look.
Sorry for not remembering, but what level do you teach?

And there is all kinds of research out there that shows decoration and colors stimulate the brain and make it easier for kids to learn. I can't stand boring, "traditional" classrooms.

I teach 7th, 8th, and 9th grade science. Luckily he doesn't interfere with the decoration of our classrooms, so I have a lot of different colors and pictures up in my room. I even have a lion pinata that I bought in WDW when I was 12 years old (many moons ago). I don't know why I bought a pinata but I could never bring myself to use it as it was so pretty. I really wanted one of those big sombreros, but my mom vetoed that, she said it wouldn't fit in the car but the pinata was smaller.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I've felt pretty crummy today and thought I was coming down with a cold. This made me sad, as Auntie comes home this week, and with her lung disease, she cannot be around anyone with a cold.

But then, my eyes got watery and the roof of my mouth got crazy itchy and hallelujah - it's just allergies! One Reactine and I'm 90% toward feeling right as rain. :)

I accidentally punished everyone who isn't riding Everest by removing their third FP so I guess they have to use the kiosk.
That's what they get. Everest or bust, baby!

Truth is, it's very difficult making FP's if some are riding and some are not. It took me a while this summer, but I finally got the hang of Hubby and Jen on one ride, Ski and Gen on another.

Wait until you're doing ADR's for different restaurants. Ugh! Once, I may have had to phone. Long distance. On my dime. Would you be interested in staying on the line to complete a short survey? Ummmm ... no.

You're going to love this - I was downstairs chatting with Hubby and he was growling at his remote because it needs new batteries.
I went straight upstairs to my stash and got him two.
:hilarious: :hilarious:

Guess he wasn't a Boy Scout as a kid. Their motto is "Be Prepared". Then again, I don't know if there are Boy Scouts in Canada; it might just be a U.S. organization. So, he gets a pass (on being a Boy Scout, that is). ;)

Meanwhile, you were a good wife (as always) and saved the day. I also have stashes of things, for when hubby asks. Typical married couple (of 21 years . . .) discussion below:

Hubs: I think we're out of toilet paper.
Moi: No we're not, it's where it's always been.
Hubs: Where?
Moi: In the bathroom cabinet.
Hubs: Oh, o.k., I found it.

I booked all meals I will be present for. All other ADRs are the responsibility of that portion of the group attending.
