Oh no! In OT even. Two thumbs down.

On the plus side, opening day is 4/4/16, a lovely bit of symmetry there, don't you think?
I wish it was opening day for the NFL. Such a long time until next season. And I think we would have won next week, which would put us in he Super Bowl. Always so close. :banghead:

I know how it feels to have my team blow it in the final moments. I know that a little too well after this season.
But your team doesn't blow it in the postseason. You get to the playoffs once every 6 seasons and then win the Super Bowl against the Patriots. That's just how it happens.

The only team that doesn't consistently lose in heartbreaking or humiliating fashion seems to be the Patriots.
It seems that what may help you during a tough time like this would be the classic fable of the two fishermen. You may remember it from days long past in grade school. It was certainly one of my favorites:

There once were two fishermen out in the middle of the sea one morning casting their lines.
The first fisherman looks at the other and says: "My team makes it to the playoffs every year, but never seems to go far."
The other fisherman responds: "My team also makes the playoffs every year, but only once has won it all."
The first fisherman asks: "Well don't you appreciate having won it all at least one time?"
The other fisherman answers: "Not really. It was fun while it lasted, but now it doesn't seem to matter."
The first fisherman begins to feel saddened, as his team had NEVER won the entire championship.
He begins to imagine what it would be like, to once go to the end and win it all.
He assures himself that he would always cherish such a moment, no matter what happened in the years to follow.
"Oh if only we could win it all, just one season. That would make my life feel so complete.", says the sad first fisherman.
He sat quietly thinking of this, until the other fisherman looks at him and says: "Why are we doing this to ourselves?"
The first fisherman responds: "What do you mean? The way we are feeling bad about our teams in the postseason?"
"No.", answers the other fisherman. "I mean, the way we're sitting out here on the water all morning, but forgot to bring our boat."

Hope that helped. You'll get 'em next year!

At least your offseason is 2 weeks shorter than most of the rest of us!!

Yes - but - those 2 Super Bowl losses to the Giants were pretty much as humiliating as it gets. Though I guess all the winning tempers that blow.
