Mr. Potter! In the, in the whole vast configuration of things, I'd say you were nothing but a scurvy little spider! And... [turning to his aide] And that goes for you, too!
I remember the first time I saw "It's a wonderful life", it was Christmas Eve and I was in Bien Hoa, So. Vietnam. Armed Forces Television showed it (fortunately it was old enough to be filmed in black and white because that was all they broadcast) All the rest of the guys were outside getting massively drunk, lighting farts and having fist fights. Wonderful night! I have to admit that probably because of that stuff, it had a very strong impact on me. It was a story about a person finally realizing that what he did as a regular person had massive impact on so many people. Corn? Absolutely, but, it was a feel good movie by the time it finished. Probably one of the best movies that I have ever seen, whatever, the reason.

NATIONAL NOODLE RING DAY

Across the country, December 11 annually celebrates National Noodle Ring Day.

National Noodle Ring Day could possibly be about the little round pasta noodles that make up a delicious pasta salad or a number of other pasta dishes or that kids (of all ages) love to use in different craft projects, including gluing them together to make snowflakes, which is perfect for this time of year.

However, a noodle ring, which has a huge number of fans across the country, is actually a popular pasta dish, created in a 8 or 9 inch ring mold, typically made up of noodles, flour, breadcrumbs, cheese and eggs as its main ingredients. When baked, the noodle ring is then removed from the mold, onto a plate giving it a high rating in appearance as well as taste.

We went back to Newport today to see The Breakers decorated for Christmas. We were not disappointed! Photos inside were prohibited except in select areas, so I can't share much but here's a few:

There was a gingerbread house competition set up in one room, and photos were allowed there, so here's a few. They were all models of the Newport mansions:

and my favorite (and winner) - even the inside details are all edible:
