Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Okay, I give up.

After months of suffering through pain in my hip - progressing from just a twinge in July; to limping a bit in August; to needing 2 Advil to take the edge off at night in October; to full-fledged intolerable, sometimes I'm actually crying, pain for the past three weeks or so - I'm finally going to suck it up and call the doctor.

I just kept thinking it would go away, as it has in the past. A handful of X-rays in the past 15 years have all revealed nada, so I have fairly low expectations this time.

On the plus side, the pain has never been this bad for this long, so maybe something (easily treatable) will show up. Fingers crossed.

P.S. - Going to the doctor will also get the kids and my brothers off my back. (Hubby is smart enough to know that when I've had enough, I'll go.)

I'm so sorry you've been in so much pain! I hope it is something that can be fixed quickly and easily.

I was just about to post that I had no idea what you guys were talking about - kerblangers, whee-lo's .... It's almost like it's a whole nother country!

But clackers! I know clackers. I was good at clackers. Really good.

That, and "wall ball".
I posted a video of the Whee-Lo...you guys didn't have those?

Hip pain stinks. Every so often my hip locks up and I can't move until I get the courage to just push through the lock and get movement again. Hurts like a *****. Hopefully it's something a little physical therapy (read: medically necessary massage) can fix!

I've heard the blue pronunciation in Mississippi, but in Louisiana I have only ever heard people pronounce it puh-kawn. Naturally that's also how I pronounce it. Pecan rhyming with gone has given Louisiana that great expression "gone pecan." Gone pecan essential means goner, but it's also just used as a way of saying someone or something is gone.

I speak green. Your map is wrong. ;)

Or not, 'cause now I'm not sure where I actually am.
