@JenniferS, thought you'd enjoy a pic of the mashed potatoes and apple pie I made tonight. However, I started on both too late and DD only got a taste of the potatoes. I had to make her mac & cheese and broccoli for dinner instead.

But I think it's time for a late night snack for me right now…

Indeed I did! I have to say the apple pie is tasty. I usually leave the peels on (out of laziness, but I tell people because it's healthier ), but this time I peeled the apples and it's definitely an improvement.

I think if you made me "Mashed Potato & Apple" pie that I would ask for for something different myself. It just does not sound appetizing.
