Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

So here's how the second part of our day went:

Got to the bus stop and there was no time listed for MK. After 20 minutes found out the busses were delayed due to the monorail "issue" as they called it and the road to MK being temporarily closed. Waited for about 40 minutes for a bus but by the time it came everything was cleaned up related to the monorail and we were able to make it to Crystal Palace only about 20 minutes late. We waited maybe 5 minutes and were seated. All in all it worked out fine. When we got to the bus stop it started pouring and the rain let up before the bus even came. We got a nice rainbow as a result:image.jpeg
I have a few pics of the topiaries from CP but forgot to upload them so will post separately. After dinner we headed left to Adventureland. There was a small crack in the Skippers Canteen construction wall but this is all I could get - I could see the windows are framed by primary color glass squares but that didn't photograph:

Next to Jingle Cruise - cute change from the typical cruise:

Then on to PoTC. I'm happy to report we had a full boat and nobody got wet, the boat didn't take on water and we were not listing at all. Mermaid song was there but projection was not. No mist and no projection there either. Drop was in pitch dark which was pretty awesome. All effects seemed to be working and it was really a great ride. After that we headed to HM - passed by Liberty Tree Tavern - couldn't tell if anything was going on. We will be back in the daytime Friday so will see if they are open. After HM rode small world, watched Wishes, Barnstormer twice, Dumbo, Speedway (kids both tall enough to drive!) and Peoplemover. Kids were dragging so we called it a night which pained me because the lines were so short. On the way out we used to Main Street bypass (sorry for the dark and blurry shots I was walking and it was dark - I didn't want to blast everyone's eyes out with the flash:

And one pic of the tree and we finish with the castle:image.jpeg image.jpeg

I had been hoping to see that and the carousel at the beach club last weekend. I did get to see the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian and the display at the Contemporary, have you made it over there yet?
Got to the Contemporary a few nights ago - so cute!! Will be at YC tomorrow for breakfast - hoping carousel is up. Hope you are having a great trip!!

I'm smelling gingerbread now for some reason.

A question for all you Star Wars geeks out there - having only seen the original trilogy, is there any chance in the Galaxy that I will understand a single scene of the new one; or should I just give it a big ole pass?
If you know the original trilogy, you should be just fine.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
The other important plot point from the prequels that will likely come into play during the new trilogy is...
Anikan doesn't like sand.
Now see, I have no idea what this means.

YouTube: "It's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere."

Huh?
