Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I have never had so much trouble stringing tree lights. I can't get the male/female ends to line up. At one point, I think I had one string connected to itself. Yeah, 'cause that works really well.

I may just have to rip them all out (including the four strings that were permanently zip-tied in place last year) and start over.

But first, I need some PolySporin and band aids.

JenniferS - not having fun.
Even the lights think it is too early.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Tree is up.
Tree needs lots of tweaking in the daylight.
But first I am off to the dentist (again!) at 10:30.
So yay!

And boo! the little blown glass ornament loop broke within minutes of hanging this beauty.

Worse yet, despite vacuuming, I did not hear the tell-tale pching of glass being sucked up.

I always vacuum until the sound goes away - be careful walking around the area. Something tells me your husband & kids could dance a jig there unscathed but if you even tiptoe through you'll find a piece of glass you missed. :(

My tree sits very low to the ground and I can't get my Dyson all the way under. Diane will be here tomorrow, and will get it with her Kenmore, if I haven't already found it.

In the meantime, I'll get down on my hands and knees with the flashlight today to see if I can find it.
It's not anywhere around the front perimeter of the tree, so hopefully everyone is safe until noon.

You don't have a stair attachment for your Dyson? I always get under the tree with that.

We have a bit of a situation in my house. We don't leave until Friday night and there is nothing in the fridge but condiments. All that's in the freezer is ice cream but not nearly enough to last until Friday. I guess I'm going to need to do a small shop to get through since we are all home together tomorrow and can't survive on mayonnaise alone.
