I've gotten into the Christmas movies already. We watched The Family Stone the other night with Claire Danes, Luke Wilson, Dianne Keaton, etc. I quite liked it. But I had a wicked hankering for a little Christmas. A year is a long time to wait.

You will be happy to know then that W network will be running two back to back Holiday movies every night, starting Friday.
Friday: Elf/Naughty or Nice
Saturday: Four Christmases/A Bride for Christmas

Did anyone else think the Ray Liotta/Jennifer Lopez/Drea deMatteo new show looks promising? I need to know before I watch (in January) because LAST time Ray Liotta had a TV show I watched about 4 episodes and his "team" pulled off a massive heist and the cops were closing in and the show got cancelled. Right then. I don't even know if an ending was filmed. But I am certainly not going to be the only one watching and risk THAT happening again.

I have no idea what it's about. I saw one commercial, and there was nothing that let me know what it's about.

It is NBC so there is a 75% chance that they probably work for an emergency service and it takes place in Chicago.

I'm a fan of the binoculars. They're very good at what they do, and they have a high chance of succeeding, but they just haven't shown up lately.

Strangely, I am always rooting for the ship to turn in time. I am willing it to turn.
"Why ain't she turnin'?"

And then a few minutes later, I am breathless with fear as the watertight doors are coming down, and that one fellow barely avoids being crushed to death.

Towards the end of the movie, when Jack and Rose are pulled down by the suction of the sinking ship, I try to hold my breath for as long as Rose is beneath the water.

Plenty of tension-filled moments in that movie; irrespective of how many times I've seen it.

Wondering if maybe I should have encapsulated the above comments in spoilers.

I'm a fan of the necklace. It's all sparkly and pretty looks really good at times but even if it makes the playoffs it's going to have to play the Patriots by the end of the movie it's at the bottom of the ocean.
