There were a couple of people I did not recognize and I figured if I had to Google, the least I could do was save someone else the Google (and I thought of you of course!)

Today is the first day of high school basketball season. Tryouts are every night this week, with team selection on Friday.
In the meantime, the phone has been ringing off the hook-up. I am already tired of hearing Hubby say:
Players play. Coaches coach. Parents parent.
It's going to be a loooong season.

Right now, it's parents phoning: my son's on the team right? He doesn't have to start, as long as he plays ....
Mike's rule is that he does not discuss playing time with parents. If the kids have an issue, they must speak to the coaches directly.
In the meantime, the team won't officially be picked until Friday. The Board has a mandatory 3-tryout selection process. The truth is, except for one or two positions, the team has essentially been determined since August.
