Just got home from the hospital.
My friend, not so much.
Man, it's weird how things turn out.
They X-rayed her hand. No fracture.
They X-rayed her ribs. No fracture.
They CT-scanned her head. All fine.
They checked her renal function (diabetes being one of her main health issues), and things were not so good.
She spent a week in the hospital in July because her creatinine levels were at 400. Today, they were in excess of 600! I don't know what any of this means, but the doctor said if they can't get them down to the low 400's by tomorrow, they may have to start dialysis.
While I'm not saying that her car accident was a good thing - it wasn't, her car is a total write off - but going to the hospital was clearly a fortuitous decision.
I decided I did have enough turkey, after all.
Finding that whole turkey leg helped.

This was my view when I opened the site - the last part of @PUSH's post and then @Eric1955 being the next poster made me laugh.

While not an epic fail, I put in too many egg noodles. Once they were done, there sure wasn't a whole lot of broth left.Big slurp.

Ski however, has already had two gigantic bowls of it, so I'm sure it will all be gone by tonight.
I thought my friend was ticked at me for convincing her to go to the hospital yesterday. She has been ignoring my texts all day.
Turns out, she ran out of juice last night, and had no reason to think to take her charger with her.
She is still in hospital, hoping to be released tomorrow.
I'm surprised they stayed with him this long.C'mon Price!
Yeah, those bat around innings will kill ya.I'm surprised they stayed with him this long.
Only football matters before the playoffs. The other sports I can shamelessly miss a few weeks at a time.Hubby put the Pens game in before the Mets game. I'm a hockey fan and all but c'mon man it's the playoffs.
Important announcement: One can never put to many egg noodles in soup and the more it is like a stew the better. Broth is nothing more then smelly water. It's exactly the way I make most of my soups, with the exception of French Onion. While not an epic fail, I put in too many egg noodles. It was definitely stew-y. I knew I should have gone with potatoes like I usually do.Important announcement: One can never put to many egg noodles in soup and the more it is like a stew the better.
