The solution to lowering dependence on fossil fuels.

Is it also National I Don't Like Cats Day?

Isn't the Actifry like $200? So you spent over $300 on meds??
Some food too.
Clearly not anything interesting though, 'cause all everyone kept saying was - you didn't buy anything good.
I need junk food/sweets like I need a hole in the head, but around 8:00, even I was lamenting that we hadn't bought anything "good".

And tax; don't forget tax. This is Canada, you know - home of "free" healthcare. :p

Rotiss chicken is good. :hungry:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I'm meeting up with an old school chum tomorrow for coffee or lunch, we haven't decided which.
Still feel like absolute crap and would love to bail, but we've already re-scheduled twice.

She's newly divorced, and recently moved back to town after having been away for 25+ years, and really needs a friend. Me, I have no friends, so it all works out.

There's no way after having had this cold for what 16,17 days that I'm still contagious though, right?!

I'm making (read - heating up!) the Shepherd's pie and the manicotti tomorrow. A nice fresh salad, and we'll eat for two days.
I was supposed to make turkey soup, but the truth is, there's not enough turkey or any leftover veg to throw in the pot.

Ski has decided that I must now use the egg noodles to make him a big pot of beef stroganoff.
Yeah, that ain't happening until next week at the earliest.

Maybe I can find a nice crock pot recipe. :)

Oh, and you'd think with all those meds you buy you'd be able to obliterate that cold! :D

I don't take cold meds - they make me crazy!
Like koo-koo for Cocoa Puffs crazy.
Like get down on my hands and knees in a Buffalo airport hotel room and count the 1" X 1" floor tiles (over and over again) crazy.

I only take NyQuil cough medicine (NOT regular shotgun NyQuil) and a squirt of nasal spray if I choose to breathe that night.

As I keep saying, it's just a cold, I'll live. I just don't want to infect anyone else.
Taking out my cleaning lady was not a smart move!

From last November, just a few hours before we had to get over to the airport to catch our flight to Orlando. I'd had a sinus infection and the walk-in clinic doctor prescribed double dosing Advil Cold & Sinus for 36 hours prior to flying. Big mistake!

3:00 a.m. and guess who's wide awake and wired for sound.

And that, Ladies and Gentlemen is why I NEVER take cold medication containing decongestants.

Further proof that some people should not take products containing pseudophedrine hydrochloride ....
There are 540 tiles on my hotel bathroom floor.

And yay, it's time to take some more Advil Cold & Sinus.
Maybe I should chase it with some Red Bull and a 5-hour Energy drink.

Or not.

I'm spoiled now after 3 deciding Game 5's in the past 48-hours. Great series' on all four fronts. Congrats to @NYwdwfan , @JenniferS , and all other fans of teams advancing to the LCS. Gotta admit it's been fun watching most of these past series' come down to the wire. But for the sake of you all's blood pressure...I'm sure you don't want to hear that. :p

But it's been fun so far! I just wonder how many people in Chicago will be watching Back To The Future II over the next week+ for luck.

Looks delightful, too! So when are we all getting our invites for the hard opening? :D

I'll take one!

Does Mike know you have a coffee date?!

I once had a doctor tell me you can't have a cold that long - it's allergies. In February. He said I must be allergic to dust or mold or something. I started using Nasonex and after 3 days was good to go. And it didn't make me skitzy. He said the cold aggregated my sinuses to the point my body couldn't recover. I just thought I had a cold for 3 months.

My friend has one - I'll get it for you.

Or ... you just go online and buy more credits, so you can keep buying "5 more lives" and "lollipops" until you beat that sucker.

Who spends $5 to beat a level?
I do. All the time. :)

I've never paid anything into the game. I'm too cheap. But I did win the jackpot on that spinny wheel thing once. When I get stuckI stop playing but just spin the wheel every day to build up my special candies and then once I have a stockpile I go back to playing.

I levelled out so many times on that game and got sick of waiting for new levels, so I switched to Candy Crush Soda.

It is really hard to switch back and forth between the two, so I never play the original anymore.

Just checked - I am Level 652 in the original, and 507 in Soda. There is no spinner in Soda, and no gifts of extra moves from friends either. :(
