Today was our Keys to the Kingdom tour. I think if you're going to do it more than once, your tour guide needs to be exceptional! Our's was just okay.
It started out all messed up in that the theatre fire alarm was going off, and we had to meet and gather outside, and started late as a result. It started to rain just before lunch, and we had a cracking good thunderstorm for the next 90+ minutes. We got soaked to the bone, and had to cut some parts of our tour out altogether due to lightning. We did however, get extra time in the utilidors.
Now for our guide - no offence, but seriously I could have conducted the tour at least as well.
Walt did not die in 1965.
Roy was not "two or three years older".
And Walt's wife's name was not Diane.

After the tour, the kids went to see Anna & Elsa, and Ski was a bit of a jerk about it. Mike and I went on Space Mountain. We probably could have ridden Small World, but ....
Anyway, the monorail was not running this morning, nor was it this afternoon, so here are some shots from the ferry.
I have a sudden hankering for pizza for some reason.
We are heading out for dinner tonight. Ski & Gen are going to his favourite - Coral Reef, and Mike and I are going to the Yachtsman. This is the meal I have most been looking forward to. Pics for sure!

Ugh! We were supposed to have left at 6:30.
The kids got here at 6:28, and I thought, "Yay! They're early for a change."
Ummmm no, they came to tell us that in the process of chasing (and catching) geckos, and losing said gecko in their room, and re-catching and releasing said gecko, they locked themselves out of their room. Sans shoes and MagicBands! Ugh!

Mike must be trying to steal Ann's job from her.So two night ago, I'm all nicey-nice with Concierge and I get jerked around.
Today, I am locked and loaded, and more than a little ticked that we had to leave MK early to get to the business centre before 5:00.
Mike @ Concierge couldn't have been nicer. He barely glanced at my credit card printout showing I paid for HDDR back in May; he gave us back the 8 dining credits, no prob; he rebated my room the $8.00 it cost to use the business centre computer and printer; and he gave us two use any time/on any attraction FP+ per person for our next trip to MK (to make up for the two passes we had to leave unused because we had to leave early).
Colour me a happy girl!

Dinner. Thank goodness we have a car!
Parking @ the Yacht Club, we were on time. The kids must have really hoofed it, as they arrived at Coral Reef at 7:17 for a 7:15 ADR.
While I would never recommend filling up on bread, if you're going to do it - this is the place!

Loving the pics, @JenniferS (despite many of them making me hungry). But still, very much enjoying your trip/photo report.
Off to bed for the night. Anything going on at the parks for EMH tonight to honor @Lucky 's countdown clock expiring?

Mike had the 14 oz. Ribeye with some kind of mixed grilled potatoes and garlic. Two views:
