Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Quick dinner pics from last night before we head out:

He's less annoying when he's busy.

Three of us ordered the sampler:

Ski protested my getting this sticker, as I gave him 1/2 of my pot roast, and gave Hubby more than 1/2 of my chicken. "Mom" said - a clean plate is a clean plate!

Gen and I ordered dessert to go. The boys ordered these:

I think Hubby liked his sundae.

We were out in time to enjoy 20 minutes or so of DJ Chill.

And then the fireworks!!!! Great show. Probably my new favourite! Lousy shots with an iPhone:

Mike was blown away at how impeccably the fireworks were timed to the music.

And that's it, Day 5 in the bag. Vacation - 1/2 over.

I'd say my first fantasy draft went rather well. I didn't get any Packers because we had a bunch of homers drafting. And I got the final pick of the round (8), which meant I went almost two rounds without a pick before having back-to-back picks. So players I was hoping to draft (Randall Cobb or Davante Adams) were gone well before I had my next pick. I especially wanted Adams, but I think I got some good picks.

QB: Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlisberger

RB: Jamaal Charles, LeSean McCoy, Chris Ivory, Doug Martin

WR: Antonio Brown, Keenan Allen, Mike Evans, Jarvis Landry, Michael Floyd, Victor Cruz

TE: Martellus Bennett, Delanie Walker

D/ST: Bills

K: Steven Hauschka
Jamaal Charles lasted until the 8th pick?! I think as long as they don't get lucky you are going to be able to dominate this league with your knowledge.

Yep. The picks went like this

1: Adrian Peterson (homer pick)
2: CJ Anderson (homer pick)
3: Aaron Rodgers (homer pick)
4: Andrew Luck
5: Le'Veon Bell (autodraft)
6: Russell Wilson
7: Eddie Lacy (homer pick, but reasonable here)
8: Jamaal Charles

Then with the 9th pick I was going to take Marshawn Lynch as well, but opted for Antonio Brown instead.

So no one Googled fantasy draft tips or looked at the suggestions while drafting except for you.

I'm tempted to see what kind of trades you could pull off just because people are drafting based on their home team preferences. They might hand over amazing players for some mediocre guy on the team they usually root for.

The guy who took CJ Anderson has a team of pretty much all Broncos. Unfortunately I don't play him during the Bronco's bye week. The guy who took Adrian Peterson ended up leaving the draft halfway through and having it autodraft, so he ended up with 6 or 7 RBs. Although I completely forgot about Tom Brady, so somebody got a steal in one of the later rounds. And then the person who took Rodgers 3rd overall took Dez Bryant in the second round and has terrible RBs. His best is Mark Ingram. And then the guy who took Eddie Lacy ended up choosing the Seahawks defense in the 2nd round... so yeah, you could say they didn't Google anything.

I technically drafted the Seahawks Defense in the second round once. The year after they put up monster sized points on a consistent basis I had 2 keepers and they were one of them. Those picks counted as the first and second rounds of the draft. I mistakenly thought I was going to lose like the 2nd to last round when I drafted them before.

I think I definitely have one of the top three strongest overall rosters. Maybe not the best player at any position (other than Antonio Brown), but I have solid depth and have no real weakness at any position.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
So two night ago, I'm all nicey-nice with Concierge and I get jerked around.
Today, I am locked and loaded, and more than a little ticked that we had to leave MK early to get to the business centre before 5:00.

Mike @ Concierge couldn't have been nicer. He barely glanced at my credit card printout showing I paid for HDDR back in May; he gave us back the 8 dining credits, no prob; he rebated my room the $8.00 it cost to use the business centre computer and printer; and he gave us two use any time/on any attraction FP+ per person for our next trip to MK (to make up for the two passes we had to leave unused because we had to leave early).

Colour me a happy girl! :)
