You said that in the summer when they broke the glass coffee table top. 😂

I’ll smack them when I get home.
You're right down the road from Lodge Cast Iron, just saying:angelic:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
We met a lovely couple when we were in Pigeon Forge last summer, and then we rode out the Hurricane with Mark in Fort Pierce.

It just so happens that they are in Pigeon Forge right now for another two days, so met them for dinner. It’s also their anniversary today, so we were so blessed that they would want to spend their evening with us.

C’mon how cute are they?

It was a rib place, so we all ordered ribs. They were very good!

1/2 rack for me. (I ate half)
Full rack for Mike. He ate them all.

We’ll be crashing soon. The Leafs just came back from a 4-1 deficit to win in overtime, so Mike is a little hyped to say the least. (Jays won too!)

The weather is not really on our side this week, although I’m sure it will not be a total washout. Best day, aside from today, appears to be tomorrow. I think we’re going to head into Gatlinburg. No solid plans, but I’d like to go on that glass bridge thingy (Google says it’s called SkyBridge). Mike is not fond of heights, so maybe we’ll just do one of those alpine coaster rides.

I’ve seen you. You could take him if you wanted to.
I haven't seen our favorite Ferret personally, just in pictures however, I have seen Mr. Jennifer and he is a very quiet, gentle acting man. You can afford to be when you're seventy, eleventy feet tall. I would put my money on him especially if you get between him and food. It appears that the man is hollow inside and constantly needs to keep it filled, but I would truly hesitate to make him angry. I get the feeling he could knock every tattoo off @Mr Ferret 88 body if so inclined. 🤔 🤕😉

And now for the first incident from home ….
Their waking hours had overlapped less than 20 minutes at this point. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Serenity now. Serenity now.

He needs to learn to make an attempt to fix it before tattling. Maybe even a "look what happened" and "see how I fixed it" progression.

I can attest...for someone whose noggin is almost 7 feet off the ground he is quite scared of heights!!

Heading out to Gatlinburg. Mike is talking like he assumes we’re doing the SkyBridge thingy AND a mountain coaster, so let’s roll with that.

I’m going to wear sneakers though because flip flops tend to fall off on chair lifts.

The plan is for Longhorns tonight. I’ll stick a protein bar in my pocket for lunch.

And yes, I brought my Flonase, so all is good.

Sooo? When is the Titanic going to be in the conversation?

Driving to Gatlinburg. The view is so beautiful I feel my heart might burst. God’s creations are so awesome.

Oh look, a Flapjack's! Yes please.

We’re going to split a Barnbuster with an extra hash brown casserole for Mike.IMG_3021.jpeg

The view from our seat.

We went to the museum in July/August. Probably not going back this trip unless the weather is really bad on Thursday or Friday. (It’s expensive and 90% of the museum exhibits are permanent. It’s not like the Met where you can spend days wandering from one gallery to another.)

Tomorrow’s weather is looking a lot like today, so that’s a bonus.

Yea, sure all that is very logical if said by anyone that hasn't seen the movie a gazillion times. I suspect you are praying for rain.:)

you can always cover them with a blanket like my child does with the birds to keep them docile
"A benefit of covering your bird's cage at night is that it provides a regular period of privacy not usually allowed during the day. Further, it tends to keep the bird quiet in the early morning when it would otherwise become active and vocal."
