Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

We’re close enough to Buffalo, so Buffalo dip makes sense. Too spicy for me, but I have a pretty non adventurous palette when it comes to spice. I don’t relish the burn on the way down, and I don’t want to dread the burn on its way ….
I like a certain amount of heat at appropriate times. For example when we went to my daughters graduation from Tulane in New Orleans, the University had a crawfish, potato's and corn boil. I had a plate of Crawfish mounded about eight inches high. It took about 4 of them before my mouth went numb and I ate them all. I enjoyed it, but have never had it nor would I have enjoyed it anywhere except New Orleans. There it just seem normal. Same thing applies to a lot of things. I love lobster when I am in Maine but have never had any lobster other than there.

Generally a slight amount of spicy is OK with some things, but the idea of pouring hot sauce on things just doesn't make any sense. I want to taste the actual food not just the hot sauce and that is what happens. I had a friend at work that loved chinese food. Since I do as well we used to go to lunch often at a local restaurant. He would always order extra of the HOT mustard and put it on everything. I don't know if you folks have tried that evil product but it could be used to peel the paint off anything, I believe. Anyway he would dig into his lunch and within a few minutes his bald head would be covered with beads of sweat. I don't see how that can be healthy and also I cannot believe he ever tasted the actual food. Why not just get a slice of bread and smear the hot mustard on it. Save a lot of money that way.

The snow it heavy right now. They said in our area it could be an inch per hour. We are in the small band that's supposed to get 5-8 inches. Places not that far north or south of us only had a 40% chance of getting 1 inch.

The choir and drama teacher at our school was very happy for your snowstorm. His father-in-law who lives in the southern part of WI was visiting and couldn't leave so he extended his stay. Why did that make our teacher happy? His father-in-law is an engineer and a good at woodworking, so our choir teacher is putting him to work building sets for our school musical coming up!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Was titanic playing at the movie house ?
Ding ding ding.

It officially opens today, but it was previewing last night.

Mike’s team won last night so they’re moving on to the finals. (He’s a coach - senior boys high school basketball.) Their first playoff game is … Tuesday. Valentine’s Day, so I guess I’ll go to the show then too. Probably on Sunday as well. The Eagles are playing in the SuperBowl, so my presence will not be missed.

I’ll be solo both nights. Don’t feel sorry for me, I really do enjoy going to the show by myself.
