We don’t start again until the overnight hours. Another 93 mm (3.66 inches to you). TO and the GTA are expecting to get quite a bit more.

Good thing I have no reason to go to Toronto anytime soon.

How much are you expecting now?
Last I heard 3-5 inches total. It's been going pretty much all day. Maybe an hour break or so. It's supposed to continue through 3am. I can't tell exactly how much has fallen. I haven't left home today, and the street outside my window has been plowed.

Greater Toronto Area - the actual city of Toronto itself plus four neighbouring regional municipalities; incorporating approx. 6.7 million people.
Why not? All of us down here would automatically think that GTA means Greater Toronto Area! Just like we automatically think that the word color has a U in it. ;)

Temps inched up overnight, so our 93 mm of snow ended up being 24 mm plus rain.

Basically an inch.
This is not to be bragging or to make anyone jealous. I just simply want to participate in our thread.
So here goes....
It is just 2 days until the month of February and thus far in Brick NJ I have not had to use my shovel even once.
There has not even been a dusting of snow on my driveway yet this winter.
Still plenty of winter remaining, but I've been grateful thus far.

Same here. Longest number of days into the season without any measurable amount of snow.

We had up to 6 inches a week ago, but then the temps were warm and we had rain, in the following days, that it melted quickly. It was fun shoveling while it was there for a day or two, but then it all went away. :(
I shoveled snow back in the day. What a full body workout! Even though I was layered up with clothing my inner most shirt was drenched with sweat.

Enjoy your lack of snow. My area has plenty.

We got about 8 inches on Saturday. We are above the average snow totals for the season thus far. Before Christmas we had a good amount, too, causing a snow day on our last day before winter break. But then the temps hit the 40s after Christmas, and it all melted. I have a feeling this snow will be sticking around a while. Wind chills are supposed to be around -25 tomorrow morning. Back up to the low 30s by the end of the week.

Ouch. Sorry.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
So, it looks like the 25th anniversary release of Titanic is only playing on 12 screens across the entire country. Lucky for me, one of those theatres is only 26 km away from me. Straight up 3D though.

If I want IMAX (and I do!), we have to drive to Buffalo. Need to check Mike’s basketball schedule and make a day/night of it. (Outlets, movie, dinner, sleep … movie, groceries, home.)
