Your team will probably win.
So far it seems that way.
Yet the Vikings did great against the Packers!

I've really been in the mood for a Disney vacation lately. It feels like it's been years since I was there, rather than months.
Last time I was at WDW was 2018. I've got two trips planned in December and am actually dreading both of them, based on crowd reports and the combination of park reservations/price of park tickets.

It's definitely a sad situation

My family has been going during peak times (summer and spring break) forever, so we can manage crowds pretty well. My mom became a teacher when I was in middle school, so we have only ever been able to go when school is out. Our first few trips were in October before she was a teacher. And now I'm a teacher, too, so it's become summer only because our spring breaks don't line up.

The park reservations weren't bad in June. We were even able to change our plans less than 24 hours before. And crowds honestly didn't seem bad compared to when we used to go 10 or so years ago. I know Genie+ gets a bad wrap, but IMO it was worth every penny. We hardly had to wait in any lines, especially during the first half of our trip. I think our longest line was Soarin' and FoP, which were each about 40-45 minutes. Soarin' was posted at 20, which ended up being longer. FoP was standby at rope drop. But 10-15 minutes of that was probably just walking through the extremely long queue.

I actually felt like this past trip was the most flexible we were able to be in years, since rides and attractions didn't have to be schedule months prior. We could figure things out in the morning.

The only part I can't defend is the price of the tickets. They're insane. But I keep going, along with many other people, so there's that.

Thanks for all that current info.

We started going regularly to WDW in 1995, and returned at least once (often 4x) a year for at least 15 years--DVC made that easy to do. As mentioned, our last trip was 2018, and we’ve become disillusioned since then by price hikes, etc.

My SIL wants a “last hurrah” family trip before her nest empties, and she picked “between Christmas and New Years", so we have to go along.
