Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Any of you (who observe Easter) have any upcoming special dinner or get-together plans? Since it's just the two of us, I'll probably cook some ham slices and some veggies. I told hubs, no Easter basket, as I'll just devour all the candy. (However . . . I've been buying some Easter treats and discretely eating them, for a few weeks now.) :hilarious:

I'm having Easter dinner at the Plaza at the Magic Kingdom.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I hope your symptoms are mild and no long term effects.
Thank you. Not mild … but not severe.

This is actually my second positive test. The first was 5 days ago; symptoms started 7 or 8 days ago.

As I predicted at the beginning of the pandemic, when COVID comes to the JenniferS household, it was going to be on Ski’s work boots. He was off for a week, and returned to work today. The rest of us caught it at various times throughout last week.

Everybody is fully vaccinated, so I’m quite sure we’ll all be fine. Mike and Spenser both tested positive 2-3 days after me, and both are feeling better already.

Ugh....hope you are better soon! Wasn't Ski the one who left when you came back from Disneyland because he was convinced you were going to bring home covid? And then HE is the one who brought it home? You ARE giving him a bunch of carp about this, aren't you?

My MIL's surgery has been canceled. They did a CT scan on Friday which showed that the blood vessel is pretty much completely blocked, which means that the risk of a blood clot forming and breaking off and being sent to the brain is lower than if they go in and start cleaning it out. And if they clean it out, the blood flow will increase so much that there's a higher risk of a bleed. Apparently, she will get enough blood flow to the brain on the other side of her neck, and therefore it's better to just let it be. I'm not sure what this means for her treatment going forward, or what the risks are of another stroke. But I guess at least my husband isn't spending his birthday in the hospital waiting for his mom to get out of surgery? Silver linings, I guess.

Rest up, Jennifer. Hoping this passes soon for you.

No that was Spenser. And he was not pleased by the invasion of the vid but was definitely relieved that when it did hit it was manageable and they are all ok. He can somewhat relax now which is a good thing.

Correct. Spenser was always the one who was paranoid. (He says he will never again go to the grocery store or pump gas without wearing gloves.)

As of today, we have all turned the corner. Not 100%, but on the mend finally. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 It’s been a rough 7-10 days.
