Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Hi, I just went back several pages on this thread mostly because the title of this entire thread sucked me into it. I have to say I absolutely love all the photos of WDW and the photo I saw of the puppy was adorable as well as I have a new Corgi puppy that will be 4 months old in July, I also would like to chime in on one of the topics if I may and that is the one that @Mike S has been sharing about. I am not quite sure what your age range is, but from what I am reading it seems like you just might be in the same age range I am in. I am 21 years old and I am a female. I would like to give a young girls perspective on this if I can. It seems from what I read that you have been off and on chatting with this girl from time to time and she responds back mostly with short responses. This could mean two things, she is not interested in that way or she wants you to be more assertive and come right out and ask her out. What is the worst thing that could come out of asking her out point blank? She could say no she just wants to remain friends and you keep moving forward as just that. You are no worse off than when you started out. I say go for it because you have nothing to lose. Being a girl, I'd much rather know the exact intentions of a guy instead of them taking the long way around.
Thanks. I’m getting so many mixed messages about this. My coworkers today have also told me not to just give up even though I’ve been preparing myself to do just that since yesterday. I’m turning 27 next month btw and I can tell the girl is only a year younger because it says she graduated high school the year after I did so that’s the age range.

OK, so you're both in your 20's like myself and I also agree with your coworkers don't give up. Why not just lay it out there and see what happens? Like I said the worst that could happen is she says she is not interested and you move on. The thing is you don't want to end up getting too invested in this girl and then she says that. So why not ask her now. You never know she just might be waiting for just that to happen. Girls can be weird. Trust me on this one. We are very hard to figure out. She is either giving you these short replies to hint that she wants the questions to stop or she wants a more important question to pop up. So let the important question fly.

One year ago today we started our day at Epcot. I don't have many pictures from this morning, but my guess it that we did TT, Soarin', and FEA. I also know we did LwtL because I have pictures of that. We did not go into WS at all, and we haven't actually been there yet this trip.

After Epcot, my brother and I wanted to go back to that art store at DHS to pick up the things we were looking at a couple days ago. My parents dropped us off, and they went back to the resort.

Part 2 of the story I began the other day:

We trekked all the way back to the store. I had decided I wanted the CoP, TTA, and Figment posters. When I got there, they only had the TTA and Figment ones left. The CMs were very helpful and checked the back for me. One looked up inventories online, but they weren't sold online. And then she looked up at other stores around properties, and the only one that carried it was the Main Street Cinema. But their inventory was zero. She said I could check there, but they probably don't have it. I was out of luck. So I got the TTA ad Figment posters. My brother got a different canvas painting. They didn't have their normal carrying bags for his painting, so he had to carry a large box all the way through the park. Remember, this store is back by Muppet Vision, so it was quite the trek! He got some weird looks, and some CMs asked him what he got. We made our way to the buses and had a long wait for POR to show up. Probably 30+ minutes. It was super hot out, but eventually we got on the bus. We ended up sitting down next to someone who was also from Wisconsin. She was a 3rd grade teacher who comes down every year to POR with her friends. We chatted about education stuff the whole ride back.

Once back at the resort, we rested for a little bit and then went to DS. I don't have any pictures other than the parking garage and number, but I assume it we shopped at World of Disney, the Christmas store, and the art store. Then we ate at T-Rex. I have loved T-Rex. They have always had the best burgers I've ever had on property. But this time it was very different. They went from thick, juicy burgers to using two very thin patties that were pretty dry. It was okay, but definitely not what I had experienced in the past. I think we are done with T-Rex. The ambiance is cool, but it's not worth it for that food. There are plenty of other restaurants around property that we can go to, and we've probably visited T-Rex too much anyway.

After DS, we went back to MK.

Part 3 of my poster story:

My first and really only goal at MK was to go to the cinema on MS and check to see if they had the CoP poster. I had very low hopes since the DHS CM said they were out. But I figured I'd check since I was there anyway. If there was one, it could have been located in any of the random stacks of posters. So I chose one to start with and figured I'd make my way through them. A few posters into my first stack, I found it! I immediately grabbed it and went to the checkout as if someone was going to rip it out of my hands. I was pretty happy. The CM who checked me out was from New Zealand, I believe, and she was training. I asked to have it shipped to my resort, and she told me I was her first guest to do that. She was super nice, but kept apologizing for not knowing exactly what to do. I've been in those retail shoes before, so it didn't bother me one bit. I was just happy I got all 3 of the posters I wanted!

I think we did Pooh with a FP next (my aunt wanted us to get the Pooh FP over a HM one... I was very against that decision). After Pooh we got some refreshments in Fantasyland, then went to stake out our spot for HEA round 2, since the previous night's was not a great experience. We staked out the perfect spot right behind a flower bed so that nobody could go in front of us. It was an hour until the show yet, and I really didn't feel like waiting. So I wandered around Tomorrowland and looked for some things with short waits. There was nothing. Everything had at least a 30 minute wait. So I headed back to my group and waited with them. HEA is not my favorite fireworks show, although it's grown on me more than when I first saw it. But our view was great, and I got some really good pictures.

After HEA, our goal was to go ride HM, but it took probably 15 minutes for us to get from our viewing spot to Liberty Square. While the spot was great, it was not ideal for getting out. When we got to HM, it was over an hour wait, so we decided to use a PotC FP we had instead. After Pirates, we left and went back to our hotels.

Pictures to come.

From our morning at Epcot:

The Land is probably my favorite pavilion at Epcot. I am happy that that isn't part of any major remodels.

I had a relatively new phone on this trip, with three camera settings. I really enjoyed using the wide lens on the trip.

I took this picture knowing it would probably be the last time I'd see the fountain like this.

When we got to DHS, they were testing the Skyliner again.

From MK:

We got to walk through the castle. I always like taking these angled shots.

I was also very impressed with my camera's quality at night.

Thanks but I’m just not feeling it from her. I know girls can be weird but this just doesn’t feel like it’ll go anywhere. She still hasn’t responded to the second thing I sent yesterday 😕

She hasn’t deleted me as a friend or blocked me if that means anything but I don’t think it does.

I wish I didn't have too, but I agree. You have done more then enough to show interest. She's not interested. That's not a slam on you, that is the way relationships work. Not everyone does it for everyone else. So in the immortal words of Kenny Rogers....

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run

You are at the "know when to walk away" stage right now. Start looking in other directions before you get to the "run" part of it. If she has not picked up on your innocent, yet loud message of interest then it is one of two things, she is either just not into you or she is dumber then a bucket of pebbles. Just walk away. If she starts wondering why you haven't sent any messages, she will send one. If she just doesn't care enough to even respond in the safest media possible it is a good sign she won't be anytime soon. It's up to you if you want to spend the rest of your youth chasing a fantasy. Myself I would be trying to find out what options I have available to me.

I've been looking at a book on Amazon for the past couple weeks, but I didn't know if I really wanted to spend $33 on it. I looked it up on Barnes & Noble today, and it was the same price. Then I saw an ad to become a B&N member and save 25%. I then realized I have an educator's membership with B&N, so I saved 20% on it. I forgot I had that, to be honest.
