I've seen some pretty shameless clickbaitey ads in the past, but this one from tonight takes the cake:

First off, there is no threat of any tornado or any storm in Knoxville tonight. It is 83 and partly cloudy with a decent chance of a plesant sunset. So the whole "
tornado alert" part of this isn't even remotely close to being accurate. Creating false panic for ad clicks = Strike 1.
Second, the visual is of a
hurricane going across some ocean. We don't have oceans in Tennessee. Failing elementary weather knowledge of the differences between hurricanes & tornadoes = Strike 2.
Not knowing proper geography = Strike 3.
That's 3 strikes.. you're out. Worst advertising gimmick I have seen in quite some time.
