Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I'm sorry you're in pain. Have you tried eating foods you don't have to chew? Like applesauce, jello, soup? I got a severe ear infection when I was about 14 and I could hardly open my mouth let alone chew. I lived on applesauce and jello for a couple of weeks until it got better.
Yup, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and over cooked pasta has been what is keeping me fueled. I am hopefully optimistic because it seems a lot better today, we'll see about tomorrow. This reminded me a lot of what used to happen when I had wisdom teeth. They have been gone for 4 decades now, so it would have to be a delay reaction.

Curious to know why the dentist has referred you to the oral surgeon (that's usually for an extraction -- unless the oral surgeon also performs root canals). Wondering if a root canal might solve the issue. (That's not always the case, however, as sometimes a tooth needs to come out.)

I've been through a zillion dental experiences, and it's not uncommon that initial testing does not reveal the source of the pain, or even the specific tooth -- as sometimes you can have referred pain. Sometimes after a while, the pain might clearly "settle" and then it's easier for the dentist to figure out the best course of action.
She "thinks" she saw something on the x-ray that wasn't part of my tooth, but embedded in my gums under and behind the tooth itself. She didn't say what she thought it "might" be, but seemed pretty anxious for me to be seen for an evaluation. I'm sure she has a thought about what it might be, but wasn't totally sure so she felt it would be premature to tell me. That is all speculation on my part. She is already proved herself to be quite proficient at extractions. Two within two months a few years back. One was an abscess under a crown and the other was a molar that split lengthways when I bit into a Quaker snack bar. Both were sudden, run the the dentist, situations.

Two more gorgeous days and then seven days of straight rain - which will change 30 times between now and then.

Anyway, the plan is to do the veggie garden tomorrow, and then enjoy the deck on Saturday.

And after that, we have got to start cleaning this house. What a tip. Also, I think I’m going to take over laundry duty again. God bless him, he has tried, but Mike SUCKS at laundry.

I’ve got seeds germinating - two kinds of carrots, beefsteak tomatoes 🤮, and pickling cucumbers; and we bought some plants: tomato 🤮, pickling cucumbers, onions, peppers, watermelon 🤮, and that luscious green plant on the right is strawberries!

@JenniferS Sounds good.. I'll need someone to support me through Weight Watchers :joyfull:
I was complaining about my weight yesterday, and I got the usual - shut up, you’re perfect.

Me: Not even close. I saw the pictures from the cemetery, I’m huge.
Mike: It’s just the clothes you were wearing.
Me: What - pants and a shirt? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Aunt Becky and Hubby spent half a mill to get their girls into USC. Now they’ve pleaded guilty and are facing 2 months and 5 months respectively in prison, another $400K in fines ... and the kicker - neither daughter still attends USC.

Sympathy, I have little.

And what was up with her appearance today? It looks like she used makeup to make herself look haggard. My dad never believed me when I said my cheeks were pink from the sun and he would hand me a tissue to see if the “sun rubs off”.

Someone needs to give Lori a BOX of tissues to see if her sallow complexion and the dark bags under her eyes rub off too.

Wow, someone is going to be busy!! We can't have edible plants in our yard because there used to be a laundry/dry cleaner here and the ground is contaminated. But I'm a notorious plant killer anyway, and have been banned from having plants. So I will just live vicariously through others' beautiful gardens.

Guilty. We were all watching this case closely around these parts, and relieved that justice prevailed.
