Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Last scheduled Zoom coming up at 9:00.
They yanked my price list on Saturday, so I haven’t done any new deals

Still waiting for some new lots to be released (at new prices 🙄) and then we start Round Two. It will take a few days to build up momentum again.

Not complaining - I can’t believe I sold 9 houses ($800K to $1.1 mill) over EMAILS and PHONE CALLS! The Zoom meetings are just to walk them through the 80 page contract before they sign digitally.

And then ... steak and Reylo!

That was the anoles. I found a skeleton of one when I cleaned the room after DS went off to colege. He had a much bigger lizard too that was just nasty and smelled bad. I don't miss those days at al!
I got the boys some hermit crabs once. Nobody did anything with them except me.

And then one day I went to feed them and they were swarming with mites. Ummm no, I’m out.

I blessed them and set them free in the condo garbage dumpster. I then poured bleach in the aquarium and left it outside for a few days.

I’m all skeeved out just remembering it.

Was hoping to see some of the meteor shower tonight, but way too overcast with showers rolling in. Did walk down to a very secluded, minimal surrounding lighting area by the river in hopes of a chance the skies would clear for a viewing, but after an hour and rain drops starting to fall, figured it wasn't happening.

Regardless of no meteor shower visibility, the river put on a nice relaxing show as always.

No critters stirring tonight other than a mom and dad duck just chilling. All the rest were either exhausted or sensed the storms approaching.

On the walk back, figured I'd take a couple shots of this nifty attraction in town that always has the coolest ambience at night, even when closed for the virus.
On the inside, it's a walkthrough haunted attraction. On the outside it gives off a very neat HM / Amityville Horror house vibe.

You can't tell from the shots, but the front porch and inside lights are flickering constantly.

Always a treat to stop and watch this cool building at night. When it's open for business, you never know who ( or what ) will be watching you from the windows. 😬

I ❤ him! We saw him at Sea World once and I have never laughed so hard at a comedian. He was great!
I just saw him in person a year ago in Raleigh. However, I can remember back when Comedy Central was new he was on the comedy program that Rosie O'Donald hosted. He did his routine on warning signs and when he got to the Preparation H warning of not using this orally, I swear it was the funniest thing I had ever heard. I was prone to abdominal muscle spasms back then and there I was in extreme pain and couldn't stop laughing. He has been my favorite stand up ever since then. Whenever someone can say anything in a way that makes you laugh through total pain, that is a great comedian.

Corn looks tasty. Do you have an outdoor barbecue? (I assume you didn't use a broiler indoors. I can't use the broiler in my kitchen, because it makes the smoke alarm go off.)
We have an outdoor bbq but this was baked in the oven. Each ear was wrapped in foil and I opened it for the last ten minutes or so. The smoke alarm always goes off here. I usually pop the battery out before I even start cooking and leave it right in my sight so I remember to put it back in.

Oh that corn looks fantastic. I miss good sweet corn on the cobb. They don't sell corn on the cobb here for the most part, and when they do, it's not very good. I used to love visiting the relatives in Illinois and getting the good stuff!

And chex mix!!! My mom used to make it every Christmas, but chex cereal doesn't exist here, so I can't make it. I bought a bag last Summer when we were in Orlando and I savored it.

I have smoke/fire alarms in every room but the one in the den right off the kitchen is strictly a fire alarm made for kitchens - so it’s less likely to go off for smoke from the broiler. It really makes a difference - I used to be waving a towel and opening windows all the time. It’s a well known fact that when I cook I either burn the food or myself.

I think it’s this one:
