Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I guess if there's any silver lining to all of this, it's that most of southern Wisconsin got snow this morning, but we were right on the cut off and only got rain.

We were supposed to get rain/snow this morning but didn't seem to happen. Supposed to get another round tomorrow, let's hope that doesn't materialize either. On my facebook memories this morning I had a post from 2012 stating I was enjoying warmth in my hammock. I sure wish it was warm enough for that today.

We have a special school board meeting now for tomorrow night. I am thinking they are going to discuss our school year being done. Other districts in Wisconsin have told their staff that their years are finished. 😢

My niece had school Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday they were told to clean out their lockers and take everything home with them. I don't know if they returned textbooks or were told to keep those for home learning. I had a student teacher this 3rd quarter and to be honest I was really looking forward to 4th quarter and getting my kids back. All three grade levels I cover this year are really good kids and my 3rd and 4th quarter units are my favorite to teach of the school year. Our district had us working on a huge curriculum mapping project this year so I'm assuming we will be asked to work on that most of the time now, which is not as fun as being with the kids.

I just keep thinking to myself this morning that I just want to see my kids again. They need a proper goodbye!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Next time you are at WDW you'll have to eat lunch (or dinner) at the Liberty Tree Tavern. We just ate there on Saturday and had some delicious pot roast.
Mike and I always split the pot roast, the salad, and the Ooey Gooey. Life is good. And will be again.

(Hint - if you ask the kitchen to split the meals for you, you get two halves that add up to more than a single portion of each. I think we forgot that last trip.)

We got an appetizer (the tavern fries) and shared the pot roast and ooey gooey cake. We didn't ask for the kitchen to split the pot roast but our waiter did and told us about the tip so we get more of the shared meal. It's good advice.

I have actually never done this one!! I didn't know it was there. My favorite ride there is Droomvlucht. I also love the Indian Water Lilies. Symbolica is neat, but kind of over-rated and it's one where the wait times are huge and it's just not worth it to stand in that long of a line. If you can get in in under 30 minutes, it's cool and it's worth waiting once to experience it, but I wouldn't wait longer than an hour, and I wouldn't wait that multiple times.
Would you think it'd be worth it to visit someday from someone in the U.S.?

I've gotten hooked on Efteling pov videos lately...very similar to Disney's attention to detail & theming. I agree Droomvlucht (Dreamflight) looks neat, and the spinning house/mansion.
Based on pov videos alone, Symbolica looks like it's head & shoulders above MMRR, but not as good as ROTR.

I also like the orchestral music scores used in a lot of the attractions, like Spookslot, Droomvlucht, and the spinning house (forgot it's name).

It's a pipe dream most likely for now, but maybe one day I'll make it out there.

Wisconsin is now up to 90 confirmed cases.
So far, my town is one of the few with zero cases yet. Everyone around us has some, but we don't. *knock on wood* I'm sure it's a matter of time. We're only 15 minutes from the German border...my work is like...spitting distance from Germany. You literally pass the sign that says you're 1km away to get to my work. And apparently it's running rampant there, so we're bound to find some cases here soon, I'm sure.

We did! So I guess technically I have had potroast lately. I also got that trio at 50s Prime Time in 2016 and it has potroast on it. I'd forgotten about those two times. But I do miss my moms. It was one of my favorite things she made.
