Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Glad they didn't try to assemble new parts for me out of existing parts. I'm running out of spares! :hilarious: :hilarious:
Well I have to wonder, doesn't it make the part they took weaker? Like...they take part of your hip to fashion a knee...it can't be as strong as the old knee was, and doesn't it also make the hip weaker? Why not just give him an artificial knee?
But yeah, I've still got all my original parts, minus my adenoids, but who needs those? But if I ever need new parts, I think I'd rather have NEW parts, not used. I know how many miles are on this body and I'm pretty sure there's no warranty left!

If I get new parts, I want them to be better, stronger and faster than before. And maybe throw in Lee Majors to train me how to use them.

if she is a teenager she is still growing that is probably why they didn't use a artificial knee, studies show that common types of knee replacements can last more than 20 years so in her life time she may need at least 2 to 3 replacements

Nope, HE is in his 40s. So that's not it.

English and French. But not Chinese.
Not one of the official languages.

I like to read the French side first to test my translation skills.
Well, the fortunes in my area are in English and Chinese. English is our official language, but Chinese is not.

I like to read the English side first, which makes it easier to translate the Chinese side.

:p
They should make both sides in Chinese, and have every fortune say: "You are using Google translate at this very moment."

sorry I though i read teenage female:oops:
No biggie. You could have been right on the money. I know when my son broke his wrist, it didn't get set quite straight...it was just a tiny tiny fraction off, but they said not to worry about it because he's young and his bones are still growing, so in 6 months, you'd never be able to tell. Even when he got the cast off, you could hardly see where it was misaligned. So you totally could have been right.

I hope his kids didn't see him fall though...that's got to be traumatizing.

My blood pressure is slightly elevated (common after surgery). The PT nurse who was here yesterday noticed it too and just told us to keep an eye on it, and she let the surgeon know. I have no symptoms, and I'm recovering well other than that. So this nurse decides she needs to call my primary doctor and, since she didn't want to be ut on hold, she reported it as an emergency and wants them to put me on meds right away. I told her franky that I trust thatmy cancer doctors know what they're doing and since they checked my bp quite often in the hospital, I 'm not at all worried about a slight elevation in the numbers. I have bigger fish to fry!!!!

You didn't mention if she gave you a lollipop before she left . . . :cautious: When I was 3, I had a daily visiting nurse for almost two weeks (I had pneumonia), and I always got to choose a lollipop before she left. Are they not giving out lollipops anymore? Budget cuts? Or was she just being neurotic about your BP, and forgot your treat?! She's gotta go.

Were you on meds before? I mean, of COURSE it's elevated...you probably aren't feeling well! That's going to have an effect. I'm sure she just has your best interests at heart and wants to make sure you are being taken care of, but it's probably not reassuring for you and it sounds like her bedside manner might need some tweaking.
