Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Just back from my first physio.

In terms of progress, I am at the very top end of anyone who is only two weeks post-total hip replacement. Problem is that I might be pushing myself too hard too fast.

Got a few new exercises. Cannot increase time or resistance on the bike any time soon. Also, I must use the cane.

So, overall a very good report. Except the part about using the cane caca.

It's great that you're doing so well. Please don't overdue it, however, with the physical therapy. PT can be very intense, and you don't want to push five steps ahead, only to have to retreat 8 steps backward. Perspective, that's all I'm saying. You go, girl !!

Which reminds me. Once you & @Nemo14 are fully well and feeling like your true selves, there needs to be a group road trip.

@NYwdwfan obviously knows of top-notch cawww-fee locations up in her neck of the woods.
So why not, when you & Mike can get a break off work from selling hoses,
Have @Nemo14 & her husband get a rental cah (when there's no snow in their yaahd),
I can try to get off werk, maybe even a poe-lease escort for safety (?)
And we all hit NYC?

(For those of you I left out, you're welcome to join too, I just don't know your accents well enough for this bit.)
There’s literally a Starbucks every 10 feet in NYC - but the GOOD coffee is at the diners!!!

Yeah, I’m the only one without an accent. I sound exactly like people on soap operas.

We met with the anethesiologist today and decided we'd go out for lunch afterwards, so we hit the local IHop and had breakfast for lunch (*slurp*). They're having a pancake special (Free all-you-can-eat pancakes with any breakfast combo) so DH had 6 (!) large pancakes besides his 2 eggs /2 slices of bacon /2 pancakes combo.

And now he's hungry again...
