Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

The closest theater to my house has recliners and reserved seating. It’s awesome.

I have a multiplex just 5 miles from home with the same amenities as yours.

Never been there. Haven't seen a movie in a theater for maybe 8 or more years -- can't stand the people with their freaking phones that light up DURING the movies. :banghead: Nope. Not gonna spend a dime on a theater anymore. I wait for the DVD, if it's something I really want to see.

You also don't live in rural Wisconsin. We are lucky to have a theater that has more than one or two screens!

Yeah, with 7 million people on Long Island two screens wouldn’t cut it. We have multiple, multiple theaters with multiple, multiple screens.

Shockingly, and luckily, I have never had an issue with phones.

We actually have two theaters in town. One that opened long before I was born. I haven't been in there in years, but I think there are three screens. Then a newer one (but still desperately needs updating) that has 6 or 8 screens. I can't remember how many are on each side of the theater. I think that one opened in the early 2000s.

Me neither... all our theaters have individual reclining seats and a wall in front of the row positioned so you can only see the screen when reclining. Not a good idea to go there if you are tired because there is no doubt that you will fall asleep in those recliners. And the senior rate is only $7.00, but I still don't go much because I would go broke at the refreshment counter.

Same here.

Issues I've had in movie theater enjoyment usually revolve around parents getting progressively less involved in keeping young children quiet over the years. It has gotten bad over time, to the point where some parents use the theater as an all-out playground/babysitter for their little ones, while they sit and enjoy the film (somehow able to tune-out the screaming, full-voice talking, running down the aisles, better than anyone).

I try to go as late at night as possible to the theater if I can, or when school is on. It's proven to help.

Oh good, now I know what Mike will be doing all day instead of getting ready to leave tomorrow.
If the Eagles win, or the Cowboys lose, the Eagles are in the playoffs. Somehow. Regardless of whether they win or not, the Eagles or Cowboys will have the worst record of any playoff team in the conference.
